Oelander Hawk Moth temporary tattoo
Oelander Hawk Moth temporary tattoo
This Oelander Hawk Moth temporary tattoo measures approx. 60mm wide.
The Oelander HawkMoth (Daphnis nerii) is also commonly called the Army Green Moth due to it's markings and colours looking like army camouflage.
I drew the original illustration in fine detail with black ink. It is part of a whole collections of moths and butterflies I have enjoyed drawing. A lot of the others are also available as temporary tattoos here too.
These tattoos make awesome body art - ideal for a temporary 'new look' ...and totally painless if you're afraid of needles!
Perfect for nature lovers. These are also popular at halloween parties, summer festivals and bridesmaid/bachelor parties. Also make idea stocking fillers and can be slipped inside a greetings card.
These temporary tattoos are free from any animal products, printed with vegetable-based inks, and are not tested on animals.
The Oelander Hawk Moth tattoo ink is FDA approved - skin-safe & non-toxic. Instruction card is included. Easy to apply using water.
Please note that temporary tattoos always have a bit of a shine on them. They are just for fun and will only last a few days (although they’ve been known to last a week depending on the care and location they are placed).
This moth can be spotted at sunset feeding on tubular flowers such as honeysuckle. They prefer warm climates to breed, but can end up migrating widespread into cooler parts of Europe.
