This Emperor Moth temporary tattoo measures approx. 60mm wide. The Emperor Moth has four markings on it's wings which look a lot like eyes, making a perfect disguise against predators.

I drew the original illustration in fine detail with black ink. It is part of a whole collections of moths and butterflies I have enjoyed drawing. A lot of the others are also available as temporary tattoos here too.

These tattoos make awesome body art - ideal for a temporary 'new look' ...and totally painless if you're afraid of needles!

These are popular at halloween parties, summer festivals and hen parties. Also make idea stocking fillers and can be slipped inside a greetings card.

The Emperor Moth tattoo ink is FDA approved - skin-safe & non-toxic. These vegan friendly temporary tattoos are free from any animal products, printed with vegetable-based inks, and are not tested on animals.

Instruction card is included. Easy to apply using water.

Please note that temporary tattoos always have a bit of a shine on them. They are just for fun and will only last a few days (although they’ve been known to last a week depending on the care and location they are placed).

Perfect for nature lovers. A lot of moths are nocturnal and attracted to light sources. The Saturnia pavonia (small emperor moth) can be found all over the British Isles, although I've never been lucky enough to spot one in nature.
