Botanical Sketchbooks - Private booking

This session is suitable for any level of artist and the aim is to provide you with inspiration and fascinating facts, allowing you to draw with a fresh eye and new perspective. 

During the session, I will guide you on how to observe plants from a botanical viewpoint which is non-technical and easy to understand. 

Working from life, we can look at a wide range of seasonally available plants from around your garden or workplace and/or bring examples in to sketch. I will also provide many botanical samples from my own collection.

I can cater the session to any topic you would like to study. Examples of topics: Leaves, Flowers, Seed heads, Autumn harvest, etc.

Ideal for 1-8 adult students. Duration: 2 hours per topic.

Alternative sessions can be created for larger classes, younger students, etc. Just get in touch to discuss your ideas!

WHAT TO BRING: This is an informal session, working from life, sketching in your own style. Please bring your own sketchbooks, paper, pencils, fineliner and/or watercolours - whatever you need to work with. 

EVENT & BOOKING INFO:
This is a private booking, in your own venue, to be arranged on an agreed date prior to payment. Once the booking is made, payments are non-refundable (unless event is cancelled), but it may be possible to transfer the date.

LOCATION: I will travel to the venue of your choice. In most cases my travel cost is included in the price, however there could be an additional mileage fee depending on the distance/length of session booked.
