Returns & Cancellations

Damaged or faulty goods.

Although extremely rare, occasionally items can get damaged in transit.

I make my packaging very secure for fragile items, and even do the occasional 'drop test' (of a test parcel) to see how items such as frames cope with rough handling!! 

If your product is faulty or damaged on arrival, you must immediately:

  • Photograph the packaging and item. 
  • Send an email detailing your order and problem to alichappellorders@gmail.com

I will do my best to reply to you as soon as I can with further assistance.

 

Returns.

If you change your mind about a purchase, and would like to return an item, returns must be made within 30 days of receiving the item. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It is your responsibility to care of the item whilst in your possession. It must also be in the original packaging. There must be no smells (tobacco, pets, perfume), damage or marks of any kind (such as make-up, deodorant stains, stretches, scratches).

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:

  • Items that are made-to-order cannot be refunded unless faulty.
  • Custom designs cannot be refunded once the artwork process has started.
  • Perishable goods (such as food, flowers, newspapers).
  • Products that are intimate, sanitary goods, hazardous materials.
  • Downloadable software products, gift cards, and digital items sent by email.
  • Sale items.
  • Wholesale, samples and bulk orders.

Shipping returns.

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Alison Chappell-Bates, (contact me for full address) CB24 3EH. United Kingdom.

Please retain a proof of postage from the Post Office/Courier.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. 

If you are shipping a valuable item, I recommend using a tracked shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

 

Refunds.
Once your return is received in the agreed condition, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.



Cancellations

If you need to cancel your order, please get in touch immediately. Several types of goods are exempt from being refunded if cancelled:

  • Customised, personalised and made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once the artwork/production process has started.
  • Items that have already been shipped - see 'Returns'.
  • Downloadable software products, gift cards, and digital items sent by email.
  • Wholesale and bulk orders cannot be cancelled once the production process has started.

If you are unsure whether your order is eligible for a cancellation then please get in touch immediately. If your order is listed above, but has not been processed it may still be possible to cancel.
